Today, it offers a tranquil, rural setting with access to trails and the surrounding region's attractions. It is connected to other towns and cities, with services available in the nearby municipality of Cuevas del Almanzora, nearby villages include Las Rozas, La Rioja, La Mulería, Pocos Bollos, Burjulú, El Arteal, and Palomares.
