Santa Pola is located on the Costa Blanca, approximately 20 minutes drive south of Alicante International airport. To the west you find the Salinas de Santa Pola National Park and a mountain range with the cape of Santa Pola to the east. On this cape there is a striking lighthouse that was built in 1858, from which you can see the small island of Tabarca, a highly picturesque site of great tourist appeal.
